The Ground Floor Inventor's Meetup of Chicago

This meetup has been going for about six months now. We've had a variety of folks come over to share their new concepts and see waht others are doing. One cool thing we heard about was the radio with a built in delay so you could watch the game on TV but get the play by play call on the radio. Another was a lawn mower that was also a portable generator. Every month we swap tips on prototyping, manufacturing and marketing. Come join us. Meet other inventors. Hook up with people in product design, manufacturing and marketing. We meet the Third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm, at the Ground Floor Entrepreneur Center of Chicago, 2616 W. North Avenue, Chicago, IL, 60647. The location is in Humboldt Park, there's plenty of street parking. Just walk in the front door. Your host is John I. Lund, a manufacturing engineer and a professor of mechanical engineering. He has been involved with product design and production in many, many fields. The co-host is Marty Couch, an entrepreneur and one of the founders of the Center. If you want to keep your idea confidential, that's okay, come and talk about the other folk's projects.
